In this week’s episode we have an exclusive interview with none other that John Davy.

John is a highly successful investor who epitomises the term serial entrepreneur.

His expertise allows him to build high growth companies, digital marketing and high yield property development.

Early on in his career, John developed the most respected comedy brand in the UK. Starting from just one club in London he negotiated the successful rollout to clubs nationwide.

After selling his business at a valuation of 51 million, he then bought it back and expanded it to 20 clubs before reselling it once again for a higher return.

John has also co produced over 70 television shows of stand up on the BBC, ITV and Sky.

His other business interests include a well known gastropub company that he founded as well as an extensive property portfolio.

In this interview we discuss

  • How he sold his company, bought it back for just £1 eight years later and then rebuilt it and sold it again.
  • The books that have had the biggest impact on his life
  • How to become better than 90% of the digital marketers out there
  • Plus so much more!

Back in 2009, I won a Porsche Cayman as a prize in an international competition to find The "Ultimate Marketer".

To win the competition I gave a 20 minute presentation detailing how I took a brand new business from a standing start to over £500k in highly profitable revenue in its first 10 months with just one part time employeee.

This is that presentation.
